Pages Bookshop opened its doors in Detroit in 2015 with a simple vision: to be a welcoming neighborhood bookstore where readers of all ages could find stories that inspire, challenge, and connect. Over the years, it has become a beloved gathering place — known for its thoughtful curation, cozy atmosphere, and commitment to supporting local authors and schools.

In 2025, Pages began an exciting new chapter under new ownership. With the philosophy of Pages AND, not Pages BUT, we've underlined our mission as a place for people to gather and connect with their community.

Pages Bookshop is a proudly youth-led Bookshop. A Cooperative partnership between The Steen Foundation, The Hershekissis, and the Black Marriage Movement.
