Poetry with Mindy Lepere: Upstairs, Listening. Mindy LePere leads us along the fault lines of a seasoned life into spare domestic spaces, rooms populated by ghosts and puppets, Sunday gravy and severed limbs.

Fiction with Kelly Fordon: I Have the Answer. If you thought the suburbs were boring, think again. Kelly artfully mixes the fabulist with the workaday and illuminates relationships and characters with crisp, elegant prose and dark wit. 

Poetry with Linda Sienkiewicz: Sleepwalking. Linda's poems speak with intense fierceness to hard-earned compassion and painful healing after her eldest son’s suicide. Trying to make sense of tragedy, she unearths the heartbreak of motherhood and loss, revealing tender, resilient love in poems that embrace who her son was and what he will never be.

Melinda (Mindy) LePere, a retired Detroit teacher, holds an MFA from Vermont College and has participated in the Springfed Arts writing community for many years. Her work has been published in the anthology At the Edge of Mirror Lake, in The Paterson Review, The MetroTimes, The MacGuffin, The Valparaiso Review, Juked, Mantis and The Ambassador Poetry Project.

Kelly Fordon is the author of an award-winning short story collection, Garden for the Blind (Wayne State University Press, 2015); a poetry chapbook, The Witness, which won the Eric Hoffer Award for the Chapbook; and a poetry collection, Goodbye Toothless House.

Linda K. Sienkiewicz Linda's short stories, poetry, essays and art have been published in numerous literary journals and anthologies, including Prairie Schooner, Clackamas Literary Review, Paterson Review, New Ohio Review, Spoon River Poetry Review, Permafrost, CALYX, Rattle, The MacGuffin, and others.
