Book Clubs at Pages
Learn more about our book clubs here:
GR Reads! began as a neighbor bookclub (for Grandmont Rosedale) which met at Pages the first Tuesday of every other month. We have since expanded our reach and are now inviting all readers, near and far, to virtually join in the bookclubs’ lively discussion. GR Reads! still meets on the first Tuesday of every other month online, alternating between reading non-fiction and fiction. At each book club meeting, the next book will be announced and the book after that will be chosen together as a group. More information about the upcoming meeting can be found on our Events Calendar or you can contact Kathy Garrett who leads GR Reads! at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Next meeting: April 6 at 6 pm | Current read: If Beale Street Could Talk by James Baldwin
Well-Read Black Girl Book Club
Our goal is to introduce a cohort of diverse writers to future generations – contemporary authors who are non-binary, queer, trans, and disabled. To address inequalities and improve communities through reading and reflecting primarily on the works of Black women. Learn more here. Click here to see the full list of books we are reading in 2021.
Next meeting: March 31 at 7 pm | Current read: Wild Seed by Octavia Butler
